Who is Jimmy Hansson?

Jimmy has 14 years of experience in the renewable sector. Armed with extensive international experience in the renewable sector and having held a number of senior executive roles within global businesses, Jimmy has seen it all – and probably solved it too.

Previously Jimmy was the EVP, Global Head of Asset Management at Sonnedix, focusing on cost and performance optimization and supporting M&A activities. Sonnedix is a global solar IPP.

He also worked as the COO for Cubico Sustainable Investments, with focus on setting up an organisation that supported the operating portfolio and M&A activities. Cubico is a global IPP with a mixed portfolio of wind, PV, CSP and water treatment plants.

And, prior to that, he was Greencoat UK Wind’s Head of Operations, responsible for building a high performance Asset Management team around the wind portfolio.

Prior to this Jimmy worked in senior roles within renewable companies in Sweden such as Vattenfall and Vestas – working on both the Owners and the OEM sides.
